About the UMC
Hamden, CT - SMP Cycling Components says their map/cue sheet holder is the
ultimate in simplicity, performance and appearance. The device holds up to 1/4 inch
of folded maps or papers in its serrated jaws and can be mounted tightly on any
handlebar, steering stem or frame tube (up to 2 inches in diameter) in seconds.
Held in place by its unique bi-polar Velcro brand hook & loop fastening
strap, the Ultimate Map Clip is entirely self mounting and requires no tools. A
United States Patent, Des. 352,257 has been granted.
The Ultimate Map Clip which comes in 16 color combinations including
hot neon pink, neon green, fuchsia and royal blue, is constructed of high
impact, injection molded plastic. Strap colors are black or white. The clip
can be swiveled 360 degrees without loosing its grip or becoming loose on its
mounting. Rubber coating on the rivet head plus the mounting strap's
soft inner surface eliminate any danger of damage to painted or plated surfaces.
The Ultimate Map Clip is available through bicycle shops or by
mail-order from SMP Cycling Components. The suggested retail price is $6.95
which includes shipping, handling and tax.
